PPCC discusses water royalty [

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee (PPCC) met on Monday to deliberate on the issue of royalty of water for which chief minister Parkash Singh Badal had called an all-party meeting.

It was attended by president of PPCC Mohinder Kaypee besides the leader of Opposition in House Rajinder Kaur Bhattal. Party sources indicated that no clear decision had been taken on the sensitive issue. For this the matter will be discussed by senior leaders in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Capt Amarinder Singh in a statement said, "I have come to know that the presidential reference of Punjab Termination of Water Act earlier referred to the Supreme Court is going to be heard from July 4. Badal's responsibilty as chief minister of Punjab is to see that Punjab's interest is legally safegaurded by providing all possible legal representation in the Supreme Hair extensions Wholesale Court.
